Heather Haukaas is the Creative Director for the New Orleans market at The Rich Ventures Group. Although she calls New Orleans home, her love of travel has allowed her to create lasting relationships in the Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and California regions. Her hard work, trusting demeanor, persistence, and professionalism are why Heather is continuously an asset to any project she puts her hands on.
Having obtained her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Alabama she is currently pursuing her CPA and masters of taxation.
In the meantime, her background in business has allowed her to provide valuable support to a wide variety of individuals and corporations in the entertainment, marketing, sports, and non-profit industries. Whether she is organizing an event to raise money for a non-profit organization, creating a proposal to obtain funding, ensuring all aspects of a project are accounted for, or placing the right people in the right places Heather is always crossing her T’s and dotting her i’s to ensure that the initial objective is not only met but exceeded.
Ms. Haukaas has worked with numerous spirit brands such as Ciroc, Captain Morgan, Cabo Wabo, and Martin in order to increase brand exposure and value added partnerships for various events. In addition, she has partnered with many athletes to support many charitable events that include: traveling celebrity basketball league (in particular Atlanta areas which was headlines with Atlanta Hawks Joe Johnson) and Roman Harper of the New Orleans Saints annual golf tournament. Currently, she is working with Harpers Hope Foundation to support a mission that will provide quality education and support for hundreds of school age boys and girls. Lastly, Ms. Haukaas has a strong relationship with the National Black Chamber of Commerce and many business owners throughout Houston, Texas in which she has been involved in marketing and maximizing exposure of a multitude of entrepreneurs.
